About Me: I've been involved with the game for over 15 years as a player or coach. I am an avid Chelsea FC supporter, current New York Red Bulls season ticket holder, and US Soccer supporter's club member. My passion for the sport is evident on and off the pitch. I was a 3 year Varsity letter winner as a sprinter and thrower of the high school track and field team, as well as a 2 year member of the University of Delaware track and field team as a hammer thrower.
Coaching Philosophy: I believe a player's understanding and awareness of the game is crucial to his/her development. On-the-ball skills is also a critical part of a player's game and is something that can be achieved by repetition and practice to the point where a player can execute in a game time situation without hesitation. Proper training will dictate a player's performance in a game time situation. My coaching philosophy revolves around the 3 keys to Jose Mourinho's success: leadership, teamwork, and relations - in no particular order. At the end of the day, the relationships between players is crucial, because if things go wrong, relationships take over and maintain the balance in the team.
